Tennessee Pork Producers’ celebrate 40 years with program January 8

Industry speakers and State Youth Hog Show lead the festivities

Kicking off their 40th anniversary, the Tennessee Pork Producers Association (TPPA) will host an afternoon filled with guest speakers highlighting topics such as international trade and Tennessee agriculture, state agricultural priorities, and how to Make America Healthy Again. There will also be a Tennessee General Assembly segment with Senator Shane Reeves.

The event will be held 2-4 p.m. CST at the 4-H/FFA Building located at 945 E. Baddour Parkway in Lebanon.. The Taste of Elegance Reception and Chefs’ Competition (for invited guests) will be held at 5 p.m. in the Made in TN building.

Additionally, at Hyder Burks Arena on the Tennessee Tech University campus in Cookeville, a Pork Quality Assurance Training will be held 10 am to noon, Jan. 8. The Tennessee State Youth Hog Show will be held at Hyder Burks Arena Jan. 8-10. Visit with your local Extension office for complete details about the show.
